I was at a networking event and heard the story of jiminy wicket, you can read a bit about his story here http://jiminywicket.org/about-jiminy-wicket/. Also, I've heard some very scary statistics about the number of visits that seniors don't receive. I first went down the path of starting the senior olympics, turns out that is a thing already, so I pivoted to a board games championship instead. I feel this event provides a great opportunity for seniors to mix and mingle with different folks and keep that competitive spirit flowing. Feel free to give me a call or email me if you want a longer version of the story or see the about us page.
